Mathematics Teacher

The Britsh School of Córdoba is looking to recruit an experienced Mathematcs teacher, for September 2023. This post will involve teaching mathematcs to students at Key Stage 3, IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme including Higher Level mathematcs. The Britsh School of Córdoba, is a through school (2-18) with approximately 450 pupils on roll and serves the historic city of Córdoba in Andalucía. The school has established itself as a leading private school in the area, ofering a high-quality Britsh educaton that prides itself on its child-centered learning and excellent university entry results, both for Spanish and Internatonal Universites.

Person Specifcaton:

We are looking for a qualifed, experienced and enthusiastc teacher to join our team. Someone who wants to be part of a supportve team with a child centred approach to teaching and learning. Experience teaching at IBDP - Higher Level mathematcs and knowledge of learning platorms such as Google Classroom, Managebac and management systems such as ISAMS is an advantage.

• Planning, teaching and classroom management.

Person Specifcaton

- Be a qualifed teacher and have recent experience of teaching mathematcs up to and including Key Stage 5.

- Have experience of teaching within a Britsh or Internatonal school environment

-Have appropriate mathematcs and teaching qualifcatons

- Be a frst language English speaker or have proven excellent English language skills

- Have excellent subject knowledge

- Have strong classroom management skills

- Be able to partcipate in the full life of a busy through school,

- Have a commitment to safeguarding and promotng the welfare of young people, this applicaton process will require suitable references, police checks and/or DBS certfcates.
